Log Cabin Republicans

Log cabin republicans seem to be way ahead of the learning curve. They seem to think that they can just happily co-exist with a group that in general seems pretty hell bent on exclusion.

Bob Dole sent them all of their money back a few elections back. That is a strong statement. A republican turned down money. That is how much they think of us. They turned down money!!!!

What the hell is wrong with these people?

All of the log cabin republicans have that same austere look. They have that buttoned up, just came down from the summer place look. W.A.S.P. I think that is the correct term.

What I do not understand is why do they so want to be like the group that finds them so repulsive? One does not need to be that smart to see the self-loathing that is coursing through their veins.

They will say it is really financially that they see eye to eye on when trying to defend their nonsensical logic. Are these people so obsessed with money that they will put, their human rights and everyone else who doesn’t fit into a perfect little package, secondary to making money?

There is a fine line that is constantly being trampled and stepped on that divides republicans and democrats these days, sometimes it all seems to be one big party of money.

Even still, wouldn’t you want to give your support to the party that will allow you to love who you want, and be who you want to be?

The party that does not look down their patrician noses as if you were some insect to be examined?

They will say they are making headway for us in the coming years with the G.O.P.

But there is one problem.

I do not ever want to be part of a group that wants to make laws about personal moral issues. A group that puts fiscal responsibility ahead of ethical responsibility. A group that professes to care so much about human life, yet cannot look beyond the color of ones skin to decide if they will intercede in genocide.

This is a group that time and time again has taken what little the minorities in this country have to better their own lives. This is a group that professes to care so much about human life that they want to take the right to choose away from a woman so that every one of these unborn babies has the right to a life. Yet this same group cuts all funding to support these children.

And where is this profound respect for life when it comes to the death penalty. And for the hungry and the homeless and the under privileged.

Those chintz chairs in the salon in the weekend house in Connecticut mean more to them and the appearance that they project then a hot meal would to one of those drunken bums on the street.

And what about all of those nasty faggots? Living in sin, not adhering god’s word.

Do any of them see the irony? They would have been the first to cast a stone at Mary Magdalene. That filthy whore.

As far as I am concerned this is a big party of hypocrites.

So I guess it makes sense that there are people of every race, creed, color, tint and hue that want to be part of this contingent. These people who want to make their life more important by diminishing everyone else’s.

After all we faggots are no better then the rest of you.
